We know that our customers love to show off their knits or their crochet projects – and quite rightly too, you clever bunch – which is why we decided to reward one of you every single month.

Each month you can share your projects with us on social media for entry into our prize draw and the chance to win a £50 voucher to spend on MarrinerYarns.com.

You can never be too old for Halloween. It gives us all an opportunity to embrace our inner child and unleash our creativity to find new and wonderful ways to make cute things scary, and scary things cute – not to mention an excuse to celebrate some of our most beloved Halloween characters. I think we receive some of the best makes we have ever seen this month – including pumpkins galore, a few scary spiders, a range of monsters, a couple of Jack Skellingtons, as well as the traditional ghoulies, ghosties and witches. Here are some of our favourites this month…

If you missed out on our #MarrinerMacabre competition this month, don’t worry! There is another chance to win as we move into our November monthly competition.

November is the last month standing in the way before Christmas fully emerges – and it’s always a busy one. There are so many wonderful things going in November – from the traditional moustache growing of Movember itself, Remembrance Sunday (and this year the important armistice centenary), Thanksgiving in the United States, Bonfire night and ending with St Andrew’s Day in Scotland. There’s so much to celebrate and commemorate in November, we thought we would celebrate the month itself and all the significance it holds.

We want to see all of your yellow creations that echo the tones of November’s birthstone, topaz, and November’s flower, the chrysanthemum to help celebrate this month – not to mention adding a bit of always welcome brightness to this time of year.

Mustard, lemon, ochre, blonde, gold, buttercup – we want to see all shade of yellow splashed across our social media pages. Use our hashtag #MarrinerNovember to share your photos and celebrate this wonderful month.

Share your photos (don’t forget the hashtag!) of your Marriner yarn creations with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to be in with a chance of getting your hands on that £50 voucher. If you don’t use social media, please email us your images to info@marrineryarns.com (using our hashtag as the subject) and we’ll add your projects to the competition album.

Good luck once again!
